Fusion PPT, a recognized cloud computing strategy and technology firm, announced today that they have won the highly competitive DoD Cloud architecture project for DISA. This contract will focus on building a DoD- community-wide interoperable Cloud Computing environment that will make the government more efficient while securely meeting the Shared Services Strategy.

Fusion PPT will develop the framework, architecture, and guidance necessary to move shared DoD services into an interoperable Cloud environment with a focus on cost savings, enhanced information sharing, and mission effectiveness. Fusion PPT is intimately familiar with DISA’s mission to support the war fighter while providing on?demand secure global access to mission data and enterprise services. The project will include establishing a common taxonomy of Cloud Computing based on NIST definitions that is tailored for the DoD enterprise, which will ensure that different DoD organizations can speak in the same language with regard to Cloud Computing.
