Fusion PPT releases a Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Price Calculator in an effort to assist customers evaluate a move to an AWS environment.

The driver of developing the calculator was to create a more detailed price calculator that was currently available in industry that included forecasting the total projected sever costs from five (5) to seven (7) years (depending on the server operating system).

The AWS pricing calculator benefits potential customers by helping them in forecasting projected costs upfront and to better understand the cost breakdown by server vs. seeing only a monthly total. Using the latest available AWS pricing model, the calculator provides cost estimations for On-Demand and Reserved Instance types including No Upfront, Partial Upfront and All Upfront.
