Fusion PPT, a recognized strategy and technology consulting firm, announced today that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the team led by Harris Government Communications Systems an eight-year single award support services contract: Fusion PPT teamed with Harris based on their rich experience within FAA.

The CSS-Wx program will help to disseminate real-time, comprehensive weather pictures to all aviation users across the National Airspace System (NAS). The CSS-Wx program will help minimize flight delays and cancellations by providing additional weather data with increased accuracy to more aviation consumers, supporting real-time operational planning and decision-making.

Fusion PPT’s focus area is assisting in designing and implementing the CSS-Wx architecture so that it can support a future cloud configuration. Fusion PPT’s scope then focuses on migrating the CSS-Wx architecture to the FAA Cloud Services (FCS) program platform.
